Mr. Wang Long, Chairman of Dongfeng Motor Industry Import & Export Co., Ltd. (DFMIEC), led a senior management delegation to Nepal for an official inspection and exchange visit, underscoring Dongfeng Motor’s continued commitment to the Nepali market and its long-term growth potential.
The visit focused on evaluating Dongfeng’s current market performance, operational framework, and overall brand presence in Nepal, while strengthening engagement with local partners and customers.
The delegation comprised Mr. Wang Long; Mr. Zhao Xiaojie, Director of the Strategic Operations Department; Mr. Chen Jian, Director of the Human Resources Department; and Mr. He Zixin, Regional Manager for South Asia.
During the visit, the team conducted on-ground assessments of market activities, infrastructure readiness, and after-sales service operations.
They reviewed key performance indicators, analyzed customer feedback, and examined emerging market trends to better understand operational efficiency and future demand dynamics in Nepal’s evolving automotive and EV landscape.
The delegation also held strategic discussions on enhancing brand visibility, optimizing customer experience, and expanding Dongfeng’s product portfolio in the Nepali market. These exchanges highlighted opportunities for deeper market penetration and sustainable expansion aligned with local requirements.

A key highlight of the visit was the ceremonial handover of Nammi vehicles to customers by Dongfeng representatives, marking a significant milestone for the brand in Nepal. The handover reinforced Dongfeng and Nammi’s commitment to delivering dependable, value-driven mobility solutions while fostering long-term customer relationships.
The visit concluded with constructive discussions on future collaboration and market development. Dongfeng Motor reaffirmed its dedication to supporting its Nepal operations through closer cooperation with local partners, continued investment in infrastructure, enhanced service quality, and active participation in the growth of Nepal’s rapidly developing EV ecosystem.
